Friendly Reminder: Two Important Steps for Getting Assignment Scores into Reports!

Dear Educators,

In order to get your assignment scores into reports, you must actively do two things in Sirius Online:

1) Manually edit an assignment's status so that it is marked as Scored;

2) Manually set the scoring method to Release to reports.

Note: each class card will tell you which assignments are ready for scoring.

To check if an assignment is sending scores, please follow these steps:

1. In Assignments tab, locate an assignment (you may need to click a date in the past on the calendar to call up past assignments).

2. Click the Score button.


3. On the assignment Summary screen, check to see that the assignment status is marked as Scored, and that the report settings indicate that Release to reports is YES.



If the Assignment Status is not set to scored, you'll need to click the Edit button on the assignment card or in the upper left of the assignment set the assignment status to scored and the Release to reports toggle on (in blue).  Be sure to click Save.



As shown in the video above when the assignment is closed and grading completed you will see the following. Click Mark Scoring Complete for data to flow to reports.


Your scores will now appear in reports. Please allow standards reports to compile overnight as they do not appear immediately.
