Teachers or Admins: Migrating Student Data in Class Roster

 Did you know that Teachers or Admins can migrate student data from one class to another data in any student Roster?



When students complete work in one class in which a Sirius Course activity or custom test is given – and the student is transferred to another section of a class (whether it is a different teacher or the same teacher) – the teacher can move all the students completed work, including released to reports data, to the new class by clicking the Migrate Data button in the new roster where the student now appears.

This will in effect transfer the student's data on completed assignments to the new class, with access to the student work and data for the new teacher, as well as the student's access to their work for review in the new class.

Please note that Migrate Data only works with completed assignments. It does not work with unsubmitted, incomplete, or unfinished assignments.

Also note that administrators can click Classes>Search for Teacher>Roster and perform the same function in the new class.
